In response, the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE) brought together over 225 organizations at a National Dialogue on International Education in 2024 to chart a sustainable path forward for international education in Canada.
From that dialogue emerged Learn Canadian, a sector-led initiative, launched by our founding champions and CBIE, to demonstrate to students worldwide that Canada remains open, welcoming, and deeply supportive of their success.
Learn Canadian celebrates more than credentials. It showcases academic excellence, vibrant communities, and the diverse places where learning happens, all while recognizing the vital role international students play in shaping Canada’s future.
